Tourism Town of the Philippines: PALAWAN
You know how RPGs categorize towns/community/worlds based on their main source of livelihood? I felt Palawan was a real life tourism community. Most of their income come from tourism.
0% crime rate
anti-littering law
hilarious tour guides
breathtaking sights
AMAZING EVERYTHING.
I highly recommend visiting Puerto Princesa, Palawan. \( ̄▽ ̄)/
Anyway, off to the photos! :D
DAY 1, Jan. 7: Naia 3, Puerto Princesa Airport, City Tour, Kinabuch

Name Fail. It’s Lester, not Dester. It’s Mondok, not Mondoc.

Crocodile Farm. This is Kebo’s favorite pose.

Baker’s Hill. From innocent to not-so-decent pose.

Overlooking. I forgot what they call this place. This is a photo I took of Mac while taking a photo of a tree. He’s exposing adasdfadasda shutter speed asdas aperture dasda infrared asdasdafsadfa. HAHA.

Kinabuch. Although we weren’t able to order breaded tamilok (wood worm) and crocodile sisig, I enjoyed eating a lot of crispy pata, sisig and gising-gising (spicy veggie dish). Nom nom nom.

Money shot. We just cannot take a photo of this one for an inside joke. ;D
DAY 2, Jan. 8: Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour, Sabang Resort, Underground River Tour, Tiangge, Kalui

Then it was CAT-URDAY!

Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour. We were so lucky to have a really friendly and funny paddle boat guide, who also sang us a song as a bonus. There were snakes, big lizards and mini crabs along the river, I thank my FZ35 for all the amazing photos.

TAMILOK aka wood worm. Finally had the chance to eat one of Palawan’s famous delicacy from a street vendor (very similar to how they sell balot). General reaction upon eating: LASANG DAGAT.

Underground River. A must go to. This is currently nominated as one of the new 7 wonders of the world. Everyone can vote here.

Going in with Mondok as our light man.

Inside the cave. Not that much photo since my camera isn’t really friends with the dark.

Going out. Again, we’ll never forget the paddle boat guide assigned to us. He had tons of hilarious jokes for us. Bat shiiiiit!

While waiting for our boat ride back. 1) The trip’s bagong kasal. I feel happy that we’re free from all couple jokes because of the new couple. Hihi. :3 2) Mondok doodle, because I think text is boring. 3) Them guys.

Puerto Princesa Tiangge. I never felt taken advantage off in Palawan, from how people treat us to prices of goods. Small cultured pearls are sold for P20 per 3 pairs, bigger ones for P25/ea and P80 for live pearls (I’ll post a different blog entry about this one).

Kalui. Seafood galore for day two dinner. Ambiance can be described as that of a native Filipino home (note: footwear should be taken off at the door). Appetizer was a kind of seaweed with small grape-like things that tastes like the sea. Again, LASANG DAGAT. Haha.
DAY 3, Jan. 9: Honda Bay Island Hopping, home

The 11 Budget Travellers. We’re still excited for the 3rd day activity, Honda Bay Tour (originally Unda Agua)!

3 year old couple on the 2nd level. I love boat rides! Luckily, our boat has a 2nd level. Much wind in the hair!

Snorkeling. Spot my super excited self. Haha. On the negative side, I’ve been itching because of planktons.

Snake Island. 1) Butch feeding the fish with bread. 2) As the water went up, weird creatures were coming out of the holes from the ground. 3) weird creature 4) couple photo <3 5) group photo

Isla Pandan. PERSONAL FAVORITE.

We all thank Mondok for this trip! ILY! ILY! ILY!

Btw, we’re on our 3rd year. :3
