Another Palawan Adventure in January
From last year’s trip to Puerto Princesa, to the simple island of Coron.
START OF DAY 1

Cebu Pacific Batch. Our group of 17 people had 3 different flights and only Mondok knows why. From 2 girls in the group, we now have 5! Acquiring a girlfriend - SUCCESS!

17 in a boat. The only negative thing I’ll say about this tour are the long, wet and cold boat rides to the different parts of Coron island. I believe the longest boat ride was a little over 2 hours. (X_X)

Super clear water!

Mondok looks like he’s pregnant. :))

1st stop: Banol Island. This is were we had our late lunch. In the photo above is Mac doing another one of his weird methods of creating wonderful images. A photog’s got to do what a photog’s gotta do.

Twin Lagoon. This has got to be one of my personal favorites. Our boat had to dock beside the mountain(?) and we all had to swim underneath a small opening about 2 meters long to reach the lake. I have no words for how pretty the views were. (IMPORTANT NOTE: From here on, I realized you NEED an underwater camera if you like to capture the beauty of Coron. And we were lucky Mondok was able to bring a great underwater camera - a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX10).

Above water.

Underwater.

Another world underwater.

It’s funny how Arbu sat on his lifejacket as if it’s an underwater magic carpet.

Kayangan Lake. After a short trip up the mountain on uneven steps we reached my other favorite place. Kayangan lake has brackish water (30% salt water, 70% fresh water). I swear both above water and under water views are BEYOND amazing. My friends also went [mini] cliff diving, and I guess we disturbed the peace a little when we were laughing so hard when Silver fell parallel to the surface of the water. Ouch!

Fish feeding in the middle of the sea. I’m serious, our boat just stopped while we’re on our way to Maquinit Hot Springs. Fishes so pretty and scary!

Maquinit Hot Springs. This was my first experience with hot springs. One second it was crazy comfortable, the next second I’m having a hard time to breathe. Hahaha!
START OF DAY 2

Coron’s version of tricycle. Here is the adorable Em for all the single ladies out there who wants a cuddly boyfriend.

Another photo of a photographer taking photos.

Random foreigner trying to get a tan.

Bulog Island. Honestly, I don’t remember the names of these places. I just Google photos and match the names. Haha. Anyway, The rock formation and the sand bar in this island are grand! And by the end of this post I’ve ran out of adjectives to describe Coron’s awesomeness.

I can’t help but think Pedobear will fap with this photo.

Sand beard. Super manly.

Just taking photos of tourists taking photos of each other. Or plainly, here’s some eye candy for my guy friends and you’re all welcome. ;)

The guys playing Frisbee. And that’s such a gay moment Arbu.

Random starfish while snorkeling in shallow water.

Another photo of a lady in a bikini. Again, you’re all welcome.

I envy Nard’s wide Instax. I love the size and orientation of the photos a Fuji Instax 210 prints out. If only I could convince myself to buy that huge chunk of a camera (actual dimensions: 7” x 3.7” x 4.6”).

Malcapuya Island. This is where we spent most of day 2. Frisbee, snorkeling, sleeping on a hammock under coconut trees and taking a ton of photos. <3
.
I don’t know how to end this post, that’s why I’m leaving you this.

Here’s a cinematic Kamehame wave photo. Isn’t it believable?
Okay, I kid. :p I apologize if it looks silly, I have zero Photoshop skills. This was done using Picnik, which will is about to close. (*^*)
Blabbing, blabbing, blabbing…
To Mondok: THANK YOU! Everyone’s looking forward to next year already. You know the drill! ;*
