UP AME Monogatari. Spent my Saturday with Ate Un (the birthday girl) and her boyfriend in the World Trade Center for the 11th annual UP AME fair. It was my first time to actually attend and I think it’s amazing how much people put so much effort into dressing up (not the fashyown kind) and how much people gather to celebrate their love for anime, mangas and the Japanese culture (more or less).

A female knight rider her armored peco-peco. The idea of making a chibi person so that she can also walk with the peco-peco is brilliant.
Son Goku, Cell, Vegeta and Gohan of team Dragon Ball Z. These guys were the first cosplayers I saw that night. Familiar characters from my childhood. Haha.

There was a individual and a group cosplay event. Both were equally entertaining. I now know why people attend UP AME fairs.
