Another Palawan Adventure in January

From last year’s trip to Puerto Princesa, to the simple island of Coron.

START OF DAY 1

Cebu Pacific Batch. Our group of 17 people had 3 different flights and only Mondok knows why. From 2 girls in the group, we now have 5! Acquiring a girlfriend - SUCCESS!

17 in a boat. The only negative thing I’ll say about this tour are the long, wet and cold boat rides to the different parts of Coron island. I believe the longest boat ride was a little over 2 hours. (X_X)

Super clear water!

Mondok looks like he’s pregnant. :))

1st stop: Banol Island. This is were we had our late lunch. In the photo above is Mac doing another one of his weird methods of creating wonderful images. A photog’s got to do what a photog’s gotta do.

Twin Lagoon. This has got to be one of my personal favorites. Our boat had to dock beside the mountain(?) and we all had to swim underneath a small opening about 2 meters long to reach the lake. I have no words for how pretty the views were. (IMPORTANT NOTE: From here on, I realized you NEED an underwater camera if you like to capture the beauty of Coron. And we were lucky Mondok was able to bring a great underwater camera - a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX10).

Above water.

Underwater.

Another world underwater.

It’s funny how Arbu sat on his lifejacket as if it’s an underwater magic carpet.

Kayangan Lake. After a short trip up the mountain on uneven steps we reached my other favorite place. Kayangan lake has brackish water (30% salt water, 70% fresh water). I swear both above water and under water views are BEYOND amazing. My friends also went [mini] cliff diving, and I guess we disturbed the peace a little when we were laughing so hard when Silver fell parallel to the surface of the water. Ouch!

Fish feeding in the middle of the sea. I’m serious, our boat just stopped while we’re on our way to Maquinit Hot Springs. Fishes so pretty and scary!

Maquinit Hot Springs. This was my first experience with hot springs. One second it was crazy comfortable, the next second I’m having a hard time to breathe. Hahaha!

START OF DAY 2

Coron’s version of tricycle. Here is the adorable Em for all the single ladies out there who wants a cuddly boyfriend.

Another photo of a photographer taking photos.

Random foreigner trying to get a tan.

Bulog Island. Honestly, I don’t remember the names of these places. I just Google photos and match the names. Haha. Anyway, The rock formation and the sand bar in this island are grand! And by the end of this post I’ve ran out of adjectives to describe Coron’s awesomeness.

I can’t help but think Pedobear will fap with this photo.

Sand beard. Super manly.

Just taking photos of tourists taking photos of each other. Or plainly, here’s some eye candy for my guy friends and you’re all welcome. ;)

The guys playing Frisbee. And that’s such a gay moment Arbu.

Random starfish while snorkeling in shallow water.

Another photo of a lady in a bikini. Again, you’re all welcome.

I envy Nard’s wide Instax. I love the size and orientation of the photos a Fuji Instax 210 prints out. If only I could convince myself to buy that huge chunk of a camera (actual dimensions: 7” x 3.7” x 4.6”).

Malcapuya Island. This is where we spent most of day 2. Frisbee, snorkeling, sleeping on a hammock under coconut trees and taking a ton of photos. <3

.

I don’t know how to end this post, that’s why I’m leaving you this.

Here’s a cinematic Kamehame wave photo. Isn’t it believable?

Okay, I kid. :p I apologize if it looks silly, I have zero Photoshop skills. This was done using Picnik, which will is about to close. (*^*)

Blabbing, blabbing, blabbing…

To Mondok: THANK YOU! Everyone’s looking forward to next year already. You know the drill! ;*

FOURTH year with Lester Mondok now. :3
He picked me up from work that day and I immediately saw the bouquet of flowers through the car window. Although I told him several times that I’m not the flowers+teddy bears+chocolates type of girl, he still insists in giving me flowers. Oh Mondok.. :*

I gave him a Razer Abyssus mice and a Kabuto gaming pad (as he wants it to be called). From Razer to us: CONGRATULATIONS - THERE IS NO TURNING BACK. Haha.

We ate at Sambokojin for unlimited Japanese food. It was amaziiiing! The photo of me looking like a squirrel is proof.

Then we went straight to the 7:20 pm screening of Mission Impossible 4 at Eastwood’s Ultra 7. It was both our first time watching a movie while seating comfortably on recliners with unlimited popcorn & drinks. I don’t think I can ever sit on a regular seats again. HAHA.
Next stop: CORON. \(^o^)/

Antonio’s 23rd Christmas

..23rd just ‘cause I’d like to believe the fun started in this family when I was born. HAHAHA!

Dinner was pre-bought from Conti’s to save mom the hassle of cooking Christmas dinner on the 24th. We bought baked salmon, crispy chicken, something steak & blueberry cheesecake. When we opened the packing at home, we got a free party sized caldereta! :O Shared the guilt the next day with our father’s side relatives.

The Beatles vinyl record wall clock from my awesome dad. They were teasing me that this was his subtle way of saying I should move out of the house already. Haha.

Christmas morning with Jian and Santa Panda! His cuteness never fades. :3

A wild snorlax appears! Le sisters and le dad while waiting for le mom to finish whatever she’s doing for the yearly family photo. (I’m sorry, 9gag got my soul and I can’t hide it anymore now that le boyfriend is into it too.)

Antonio’s Informal Family Portrait. Of course, Panda has been part of the family for two years now. He doesn’t look pleased though. Hahaha!

The wonderful people of Batangas. Expect all smiles with these people.

Instead of the usual paagaw nang barya we have SANDOK BARYA wherein people get in line and take turns in scooping out coins with a small spoon from a plastic bag full of 1, 5 & 10 peso coins. Highest scorer is Tita V with 115 pesos!

Drink. Drank. Drunk. Abbie, always the loser. Tsk. Tsk.

Extreme pamamasko. Woke up to the sound of these people shouting for more Christmas money. WTH. Hahaha! Here’s a photo of dad getting raped.

As usual, Christmas was so much fun that words nor photos do the retelling justice. I’ll leave you with below with one of mom’s lewd gifts.

It’s a pink jumping penis!

Hope everyone had a blast like I did! :D
